400 STUDENTS SEPTEMBRE PACLE

ALMOST 400 STUDENTS WILL TAKE THE UNIVERSITY OF VALENCIA LANGUAGE CENTER ACCREDITATION EXAMS

Foreign Language Assessment Tests (PACLE) exams will take place on 13, 15 and 17 September in Aulario VI of the UV and in the University of Valencia Language Centre

Following the closing of the registration period on 3 September, this year a total of 394 students have registered for a new call of the PACLE, organised by the Language Centre of the University of Valencia. Last year this call was the only one that could be held during the entire academic year due to lockdown, which explains the higher number of registrations recorded. This year, despite the fact that the call has been brought forward from October to September, the figures regain the normality that was lost in 2020 and record registrations similar to the last PACLE call before the pandemic in 2019.

The exams will be held on 13, 15 and 17 September between Aulario VI of the University and the Language Centre itself. All those registered will receive an email with the corresponding information and instructions. Through PACLE, the University of Valencia Language Centre will give all those who register for these exams the possibility to obtain official B1, B2 and C1 certificates in English, as well as B2 in French and German. It is one of the main foreign language accreditations needed to obtain some degrees, postgraduate studies, masters, grants and, of course, to be able to carry out courses and stays abroad through the Erasmus Programme or any other exchange programme.

These exams are approved by the Association of Language Centres in Higher Education (ACLES) through the CertAcles seal, and recognised by the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE), the Valencian Local Government itself, the autonomous governments of Aragón, the Canary Islands, Castilla-León, Catalonia, Galicia, Madrid and Murcia, as well as by the Ministry of Defence of the Government of Spain.

Candidate Guides for each of the PACLE exam levels as well as specific examples of the exams and listening tests are available on the University of Valencia Language Centre’s website www.centreidiomes.es.
