The certification is valid for 2018 and 2019.
The situation generated by the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and the state of alarm declared by Royal Decree 463/2020, of March 14, has resulted in the approval of exceptional measures in the field of education and language training, such as cessation of classroom teaching and migration of all courses to online and distance formats.
These extraordinary measures have been taken by the Administration to protect the health of all citizens, control the progression of the pandemic and strengthen our public health system.
For all these reasons, the Centre d'Idiomes de la Universitat de València is obliged to suspend the PACLE tests scheduled for June 2020, given that as of today, and in view of the imminent period of enrollment in these tests, the necessary security conditions are not guaranteed.
The Centre d'Idiomes is studying the postponement of the tests to the end of July. The exact date will be communicated in a timely manner once the Universitat de València gives us approval.
From the Centre d'Idiomes de la Universitat de València we want to transmit again a message of encouragement to all the students who are following your distance language training. The teachers are doing an excellent job so that the classes can continue in the best possible way even though the circumstances are new for everyone.
We take advantage of this communication to remember that we continue with the school calendar established at the beginning of the course. On Thursday, April 9, the non-school period begins on Thursday due to the Easter holidays, so classes will resume on April 21. However, and given the current special circumstances, some teachers may adapt a school day for the organization of classes. If this is the case, they will communicate it to you personally.
We wish you the best for you and your families at this time and we want to thank you for the trust you have placed in us during all this time.
From the Centre d'Idiomes of the Universitat de València we want to send a message of encouragement and support to all our students in these very difficult times that we are living for the causes that you all know.Although we are obliged to suspend face-to-face classes until further notice and cancel the exam that was scheduled for this week given the circumstances, the teaching of language courses will continue online.
The teachers have been working on activities and resources so that the classes continue to be as effective as in the classroom mode and we do not doubt that this will be the case. They will contact you during this week with the planning of the activities to be carried out and how to carry out the classes. In addition, on our Twitter and Facebook account we will enable a discussion forum in English daily in which you are invited to participate by following the hashtag #CentreidiomesEng.
We trust that the current situation will be resolved as soon as possible and that we can return to our daily routines as normal.
